About these terms

These terms apply to woodtryst.com, to consultation requests made through our website, our ads on Facebook and Instagram, or by phone, text or email, and to the estimates we give you. The website is operated by WoodTryst LLC (“WoodTryst,” “we,” “us”), 10295 US HWY 64, Arlington, TN 38002. By using the website or sending us a request, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Our work is governed by a written agreement

This website describes our services in general terms. It is not an offer or a contract. Before we start any project, we give you a written estimate or agreement that describes the scope of work, price, payment schedule, timeline and any warranty. That signed document controls the project. If it conflicts with anything on this website, the signed document wins.

Consultations and estimates

• Consultations are free and carry no obligation. You don’t owe us anything for requesting one or for letting us visit your home to look at your cabinetry.
• Any price, timeline or recommendation we give you over the phone, by text or email, or during a consultation is an estimate. It becomes binding only once it is in a written agreement that both of us accept.
• Unless the estimate says otherwise, a written estimate is valid for 30 days, because material costs and our schedule change.
• We may decline any project, for example when it is outside our service area or something we can’t do well.

Photos and descriptions

The project photos, before-and-after images, project details and descriptions on our site show work we have done or describe what is typical. Wood species, existing cabinet condition, lighting and screens differ, so color, sheen and grain on your project may not match a photo exactly. Timelines shown for past projects are examples, not promises for yours. Statements about our finishes, such as durability, describe the materials and process we use. They are not a warranty. Any warranty we offer is stated in writing in your agreement.

Reviews

The reviews on our website come from real customers, and they reflect each customer’s own experience. Results vary from project to project.

Text messages

When you give us your phone number, you agree that WoodTryst may text you about your request, consultation or project. We don’t send marketing texts unless you separately agree to them. Message frequency varies with your project. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your number.

Using our website

Please use the site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Send false information, spam or automated submissions through our contact form
• Try to interfere with, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its server
• Copy or scrape the site’s content in bulk

Our content

The WoodTryst name and logo, and the text, photos and design of this website, belong to WoodTryst or are used with permission. You may view them and share links to our pages, but you may not copy, reuse or modify them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Links to other sites

Our site links to services such as Google and Facebook. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

We work to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but it may contain errors or be out of date, and the site may sometimes be unavailable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This section applies to the website only. It does not limit any warranty in your written agreement with us.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WoodTryst is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or your reliance on information on it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited under Tennessee law, including under the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act, or our responsibilities under a written agreement for work we perform.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any dispute about these terms or the website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Shelby County, Tennessee, unless your written agreement with us says otherwise. Before going to court, please contact us. Most issues can be resolved with a phone call.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. Changes don’t affect a written agreement you have already signed.
