Who we are

WoodTryst LLC (“WoodTryst,” “we,” “us”) is a custom cabinetry and cabinet refinishing business owned by Brad, located at 10295 US HWY 64, Arlington, TN 38002, and serving the Memphis and Chattanooga areas. This policy explains what information we collect through woodtryst.com and our ads on Facebook and Instagram, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you request a consultation on our website

Our contact form asks for your:

• Name
• Phone number
• Email address
• City
• Service you’re interested in
• Estimated timeline
• Message (optional) — anything you choose to tell us about your project

When you respond to our ads on Facebook or Instagram

Some of our ads use Meta’s instant forms. When you submit one, Meta shares with us the information you enter or confirm in that form — typically your name, phone number, email address and your answers to the form’s questions. We use it the same way as a request from our website.

When you call, text or email us

We receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to share with us.

Technical information

• Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time of the visit.
• To prevent spam, our contact form temporarily stores a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address and the time of your last submission, so the same connection can send at most one request per minute. We don’t store the form contents on our web server.
• Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to:

• Respond to your request
• Schedule and prepare for your consultation
• Call, text or email you back about your project, estimate or appointment
• Provide the work you hire us for and keep the related business records
• Protect our website and form from spam and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

Text messages

If you give us your phone number, you agree that WoodTryst may text you about your request, consultation or project. Message frequency varies with your project. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also ask us by phone or email not to text you. We do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Who processes your information

We use a few service providers that handle information on our behalf:

• Hostinger hosts our website and keeps its server logs.
• Resend delivers each website form submission to our inbox at brad@woodtryst.com. That inbox is provided by Google Workspace, which stores our email.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) collects the information you submit in its instant forms and shares it with us. Meta’s own privacy policy also applies to what you do on its platforms. We view and manage these requests in Meta’s Leads Center.
• Google Fonts provides our website fonts (see Google’s privacy policy).
• Our phone and text messaging carriers handle calls and texts with us.

We don’t sell your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. We only share it with the service providers above so they can do their job for us, or when the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

Our website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking technologies. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because our website does not track visitors over time or across other websites, it works the same way whether or not that signal is turned on. We do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across websites through our site. The only third-party service our pages load is Google Fonts, described above.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as we need it to respond to you, carry out and stand behind our work, and keep business records required by law. After that, we delete it.

How we protect it

Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to your information is limited to the people who need it to help you. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what personal information we have about you
• Correct information that is wrong or out of date
• Delete your information (unless we must keep certain records by law)
• Stop calling, texting or emailing you

California residents (CalOPPA)

This policy is meant to comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. It describes the personal information we collect, the third parties we share it with, how you can review and request changes to it, how we respond to Do Not Track signals, and how we will let you know about changes.

Children

Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you already gave us, we will also take reasonable steps to let you know directly.
